A Mr Morj Case Study + Pitch for Anime Balls Deep

Below is how I (Aaron, aka Dredge) partnered with morj to make him $36 in 4 months!

Case study

Sep-Dec 2024

Last year I made Youtuber Mr Morj $36,087 (rev).

We split profits 50/50

how it worked:

Who: Morj’s audience
What: One Piece Travel Posters
When: Limited monthly bundles
Why: To connect with his audience and sell to them

How: Ad segments in every single video + livestream

risks involved:

To make the risks small to Morj I did the following:

  • No upfront $$$

  • All $$$ went directly into their bank

  • They could quit at anytime

  • Only need to talk to 1 person - me.

  • Copyright infringement minimalization: According to artist colleagues that make a living doing this in different niches, companies are EXTREMELY lenient on travel posters (no logos, clearly not official art, no/minimal use of characters).

Why is this a good partnership?

Your channel creates bingeworthy content on MANY IP’s (across anime and television).

Travel posters fit any IP, are evergreen, are universally understood, are made quick, and can be of ANY location.

This makes it a natural and VERY complimentary product to your channel’s workflow.

Example workflow:

Step 1: Have your normal video pipeline

Step 2: Identify a relevant in universe location from each video

Step 3: I will create the posters for those locations

Step 4: You simply put an ad segment in video for that poster

conclusion:

With enough time and selection the system compounds because each poster only needs to be made once, but sold forever.

Therefore the longer this goes, the more profitable it can be become.
